Nagsasawa ka na ba sa mga palabas ng Dos at Siyete? Gusto mo bang matuwa hindi dahil sa mga artista o mga paawang game shows? Puwes, ilipat na ang inyong istasyon at manood sa TV 5 tuwing Sabado ng gabi. Dito niyo mapapanood ang isang palabas kung saan samu’t-saring Pinoy ang nagpapakita ng angking-galing. Ito ay ang Talentadong Pinoy.
Ang Talentadong Pinoy ay katulad ng mga palabas na “America’s Got Talent” at “Britain’s Got Talent” (kung saan naging sikat si Susan Boyle). Bale may mga kalahok na nagpapakitang-gilas sa tatlong hurado at labindalawang “jury members”. Karamihan ng mga sumasali dito ay talagang astig ang talent pero meron din namang iba na mapapakamot ka na lang ng ulo at magsasabing “anong klaseng talent yan?”

Dahil sa pagkamatay ni Michael Jackson, hindi na napansin ng karamihan na noong June 25 (26 sa Pilipinas) ay naganap sa New York City ang 2009 NBA Draft. Isa ito sa mga pinaka-aabangang kaganapan ng mga basketball fans lalo na dun sa mga kumakampi sa mga team na di nakapasok sa Playoffs noong nakaraang taon.
Tulad ng mga nakaraang drafts, laging pinupuna ng mga sports analysts ang bawat manlalarong nakukuha sa draft. Ayon sa kanila, mahina daw ang mga manlalarong nasali sa Draft ng taong ito. Nakakatawang isipin dahil ganito rin ang nasasabi nila tuwing may mga darating na Drafts. Para sa akin, mukhang magagaling ang mga manlalaro na nasama sa Draft. Heto’t tingnan natin ang ilan sa kanila.

Ano ba ang meron sa June 26 (June 25 sa America)? Noong 2007, sumakabilang-buhay si Chris Benoit, ang sikat na wrestler sa WWE. Ngayong araw naman na ito, namayapa ang tinaguriang “King of Pop” na si Michael Jackson. Opo, patay na si Jacko.
Nabalitaan ko ang mga kaganapan kanina habang kumakain ako ng almusal. Sabi ng Auntie ko, naka-comatose daw si Jacko. Hindi ko siya pinakinggan dahil kumakain ako noon. Maya-maya pa ay sinabi naman ng uncle ko na dedo na nga daw. Napilitan tuloy akong umakyat sa kuwarto ko para pakinggan ang balita. At yun nga, confirmed na patay na si MIchael Jackson.

Marami ang nag-abang sa pagbabalik ng Transformers sa mga sinehan. Dahil naging maganda ang unang palabas, karamihan ng mga nanood noon ay nanabik na makitang muli ang laban ng Autobots at Decepticons. At heto nga’t dumating ang 2009 at ipinalabas ang Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.
Isa ako sa mga taong nanabik sa muling panonood kina Optimus Prime, Megatron, at iba pa. Kaya naman nagalak ako nang malaman kong nabigyan ang aking Ina ng libreng tickets sa premiere nitong Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Pero hindi ako nagalak sa naging takbo ng kuwento.

Matapos ang mahabang panahon ng hindi pagsusulat, heto uli ako’t nangungulit sa Interwebs! Opo, ngayon ay bago na … sarili na ang domain. At para sa aking muling pagre-rebyu sa site ko, uunahin ko ang kinahuhumalingan naming laro ng Honey ko, ang Plants vs. Zombies.
Kung iisipin, ang mga zombies ay talaga namang nakakatakot. Sa lahat ata ng mga pelikulang horror na napanood ko, ang mga zombies ang grabe kung kumain ng katawan ng tao. Oo, nakakatakot sila, pero wala silang panama sa mga halaman sa larong Plants vs. Zombies.

After more than 2 months of tweaks and edits, Rebyu is now ready for full promotion! I am so happy to have finally finished fixing all loose codes and tags in each post. Yes, it may have took me a long time but they are time well spent.
Rebyu is a blog dedicated to “reviewing” (thus the name) different Filipino things, places, events, and more. Note that these reviews are highly biased since they all come from my own opinion. If you agree or disagree with anything I post, please don’t hesitate to leave comments. They are highly appreciated.
Also, Rebyu is a Filipino-themed blog. Thus, it is written in Tagalog. If you wish to understand any of the blog content, I suggest two things:
1. Learn Tagalog. If you want to know how a Filipino thinks, then you should learn our language.
2. Get a Filipino translator. This is easier than learning Tagalog.

I’m happy to announce that my recent tweaking with Rebyu is almost over. In the last few days, I labored like a zombie and have manually and painstakingly edited each post to be up to standards with search engine practices. In their former home (taglish.i.ph), these posts have had no tags at all, thus making them a bit obscure to the searching public. But today, all posts have been properly tagged. Booyah!
It’s at 95% finished because I still have to edit some <title> tags. This is a bit easy so I don’t think that this process is going to take too much of my time. I also need to put up some link love over there. I’ll need to linkback to the bloggers who have me on their blog list, a way of saying thanks to them for visiting my former site. And, of course, I still need to put up a very lovable link to my Honey who helped me through all this.
I hope you visit Rebyu when you have the time. I’ll soon be putting up new reviews to the site so watch out for them!

The Dakilang Bum Network is still under renovation. As of recent, I am still doing some tweaks with the other blogs in this network. Although the content is already prepared, the SEO-related tasks are not yet completed.
As most of you know, the content in Rebyu, UgalingPinoy, and Personified have all been lifted from their mother blogs over at i.ph. My honey, Sweetperceptions, managed to get all the posts from all three blogs and migrate them to this network. This made the creation of the Dakilang Bum Network a lot faster since I no longer had to copy / paste the articles to this domain.
However, I have not handled the tags of the articles at i.ph. Therefore, I am still filling all the “Keyword” tags for EVERY article. I know its hard but this activity will pay off in the long run, SEO-wise.
Please bear with me and this patience-exhausting revision. The Dakilang Bum Network will be up soon!
